Start with the return trip

The official game description gives you the central loop: find eggs, hatch rarer and faster pets, and use mutations to improve speed. Your first useful skill is knowing how to get back to your ranch.

Before carrying anything, take a short ride out and return. Notice the landmarks you can recognize in both directions. A route that looks obvious on the way out can look different when you turn around. Keep the first trip simple enough that you can retrace it without stopping to read a guide.

Bring an egg home

Eggs appear around the map. Approach one, use the pickup prompt and watch the countdown that appears. Carry it back to your ranch and place it in a nest. The carry timer makes the return journey part of the challenge; reaching the egg is only half the job.

If you are holding an egg, finish that run before browsing another area. The safest next destination is your ranch. A rare egg is not useful if it breaks on the way back.

Pick a mount for the trip

Compare the speed shown on your pets instead of choosing only by appearance. Faster travel helps on repeated egg runs. For ordinary routes, practice with the mount you already own before deciding that you need another one.

Flight becomes useful for elevated areas and the volcano. Save the Volcanic Egg route until you have a flying pet and can find the entrance. That trip adds a cave escape before the journey home.

Choose one next goal

If your return route is comfortable, learn one of the Solaris search areas. Visit it before a spawn announcement, so you know where its entrance and hiding places are. Searching a place for the first time while a timer runs is much harder.
