Get the egg into a nest

Take the egg back to your ranch while its carry timer is still running. Approach an empty nest and use the placement prompt. The published beginner walkthrough describes placing the egg in a nest and dismounting when needed to interact. Follow the controls displayed for your device.

Before waiting, check that the egg is actually sitting in the nest. An egg still being carried has not completed the delivery step. If you cannot place it, look at the nest and the prompt rather than assuming you need to buy a skip. The player video above gives you a view of the ranch and the broader egg-run loop.

Read the timer for the stage you are in

There are two different decisions here. While carrying an egg, your job is to reach home before it breaks. Once an egg is placed in a nest with a growth countdown, your job is to read that countdown and watch for the ready-to-hatch prompt. A time shown at the ranch is not a new deadline to carry the egg elsewhere.

Use the full label and the egg’s position to identify the stage. A screenshot cropped to a number can leave out the information that explains it. Keep the egg name, nest and timer together when comparing your screen with a guide.

The Blackhole Egg question from X

On September 27, TylerGames590 asked on X whether a Blackhole Egg should take that long to hatch. Their attached screenshot shows a Blackhole Egg in a nest with 1 day, 1 hour, 56 minutes and 46 seconds remaining, beside a “Skip Growth” prompt.

That is an observed countdown from one player’s screen. It is not a verified starting duration for every Blackhole Egg, and the post does not establish a formula for hatch time. If your egg has a similarly long timer, first check whether it is counting down. A large remaining number and a frozen timer are different observations.

The screenshot confirms a waiting state; it does not establish that a purchase is required to finish hatching. Read the current game prompt before making any decision about skipping growth.

If the countdown appears stuck

Note the displayed time and check the same egg again after a short interval, such as a minute. This is a simple observation check, not a claimed game mechanic. A decrease tells you that the display is progressing during that interval. If the display is unchanged, capture both readings with their times so you can describe the issue precisely.

Include the egg name, whether it is in a nest, the visible prompt and whether the problem began after a disconnect. Use the support or community links on the official Roblox game page. We have not confirmed a reset, rejoin or paid-skip method that fixes a frozen timer, so this guide does not present any of them as a cure.

Choose something useful to do while you wait

If the timer is progressing, use the waiting time to choose your next goal. Compare your current mounts, review the next rebirth requirement or plan a route using the beginner goal checklist. Follow your current server’s rules for any further egg collection.

When the nest shows that the egg is ready, return to it and use the on-screen hatch interaction. Check the resulting pet in your ranch or inventory. If your next question is about cash disappearing after a reset, use the rebirth checks; that is a separate issue from a nest countdown.
